Layovers in Iceland feel longer than they are — until they suddenly aren't. Transport takes time. Weather changes quickly. Airport lines are unpredictable.

– 45–60 min to exit the airport (customs, baggage, walking)
– 45–60 min to return to the airport
– At least 90 minutes before boarding (security, gate)
